What Midas Squares offers fans of romance, gems, and fruit games

Midas Squares is a romance slot game with a rose-garnished grid set above a cobblestone pool. Rose petals fall from the grid, and the background is a luscious garden with a belvedere to the left. King Midas is sobbing for his gilded Queen to the right of the gems slot grid while tossing a golden apple.

Although the graphics are basic, they fit the King Midas theme. Sound effects add an exciting element to the gameplay. The soundtrack includes the King’s intermittent sobs, but violins and flutes create a romantic feel.

Symbols include red, green, and purple gems, diamonds, a golden goblet, a red rose, and a delectable fruit-filled bowl.

Here’s how clusters of 5 or more matching symbols will pay with a 1.00 bet.

How the bonus features work in Midas Squares

The bonus features are vast in this multiplier slot, and here’s how they can be triggered.

Cascading Reels

After a winning cluster forms, it explodes, allowing new symbols to cascade from above.

Golden Square

With each spin, a 2x2 Golden Square carrying a multiplier stamps onto the board. If at least one winning cluster symbol lands inside the Golden Square, the cluster multiplies by its value. Possible values can be 8x, 16x, or 32x.

Doubling Multis

Golden Square wins can grow and double with the Doubling Multi feature. The 2x2 square grows by one row or column for the next cascade. Values attached to this feature start at 2x, then 4x, then 8x, then 16x and beyond.

King Midas’s Touch

If no winning cluster formed after a cascade or a spin, King Midas may touch it. This turns 1 or 2 symbols inside the Golden Square into a symbol that completes a winning cluster. The Golden Square always contains a symbol. Trigger this feature in the base game or during bonus rounds.

Golden Bonus

The Gilded Queen is the Bonus Scatter symbol. Land 3 to get 10 free spins, where the Golden Square starts at 2x2.

Super Golden Bonus

Landing 4 Scatters triggers 10 free spins and a 3x3 Golden Square. Here, the Golden Square stays, grows, and doubles all bonuses.

Epic Golden Bonus

Landing 5 Scatters triggers 10 free spins, starting with a 4x4 Golden Square.

King Midas Bonus

Land 6 Bonus Symbols to trigger 10 free spins. In this bonus game, a 4x4 Golden Square forms and grows during the entire round. The multiplier value starts at 128x.

Bonus Buy

The bonus buy menu offers 3 Ante Bet options and instant access to one of 3 Bonus Games. In the Midas Squares slot, you can choose your volatility level. An additional cost is required, so use these features carefully. While bonus buy slots are appealing, always gamble responsibly.

• Ante: Costs 3x per spin
